Alice Speller was born in London, UK. She has lived and worked in Zurich, Switzerland since 2022. She is a founding member of the artist collective bleed, with which she worked from 2020 to 2025. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the 2020 World Expo (Dubai), Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, The Photographers’ Gallery (London), HMKV (Dortmund), Broad Art Museum (Michigan), IMPAKT Festival (Utrecht) and Shedhalle (Zurich). Her work is held in the Kunstsammlung der Stadt Zürich (The City of Zurich Art Collection). As a writer and visual artist, Alice’s work speaks to and through the body, exploring the material boundaries of identity.
